Welcome to Operation: SuperStorm. This is a blog by an often overwhelmed owner-trainer and her magnificent service dog in training.  Stormlight, like many SD/SDiTs, sometimes wears a “cape” style identification vest, leading to jokes about her obvious status as a superhero when combined with her amazing talent and skill and life-changing career.

Stormlight is a rescue adopted through a truly wonderful group in Maine called The Grateful Dog Animal Rescue. They not only saved her and brought her here but took the time to really look at everything I wrote in my painfully long application and realize that they had a dog who was beyond perfect for me.
